fairfield farm college students start work placement with the canal river trust.

This week Kieran, Ryan, Tom and Zackary started a new work experience placement at Bradford on Avon Wharf with the Canal & River Trust. The students worked incredibly hard and really enjoyed their first session. We took on some maintenance jobs this week which included cutting back trees, clearing leaves and checking the area for litter. In the next few weeks students will be learning health and safety around using the mower so that they can cut the grass in the picnic area.

Lots of teamwork, communication, leadership and problem solving skills were used in this week’s session.
