fairfield farm college work experience students work at Avoncliff Aqueduct

The Canal and River Trust work experience group completed their last session of 2020 today in a different location Avoncliff Aqueduct. The group were helping to carry out some weed maintenance along the side of the Aqueduct which was built between 1797 and 1801. Students were able to learn about the history of the Aqueduct and about renovation and conservation. As usual great teamwork and work ethics on display.
