students enjoy work experience lesson from ruh bath
On National Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) Day 2021, some students at Fairfield Farm College we lucky enough to get a ‘hands on’ session with an Operating Department Practitioner from RUH Bath. The students were able to find out how people are cared for before, during and after an operation. Students were very inquisitive and were able to ask plenty of questions, and find out what it was like to work in an operating theatre. There was also an opportunity to put on some scrubs and have a go at looking after a patients airways.
