Better late than never! In December 2021 the Wilts/Swindon Santa Dash was postponed due to extreme weather conditions. Today, it went ahead. Sadly all the other schools who were looking forward to joining us couldn’t attend, but we still had a lot of fun and there were lots of personal achievements.

The Sports Leaders planned, set-up, delivered and packed down a brilliant event. There were lots of jobs to do and everyone worked together to ensure that everything got done well and on time. 

A few top moments:

• Some students joined in for the first time ever.
• Some students ran over 2miles.
• Some students originally said they didn’t want any ‘snow’ thrown at them, but by the end of the event they looked like ‘snow people!’
• All students said they had a great time!

Everyone enjoyed a Christmas biscuit (thanks to Robin the Catering Tutor) and all participants went home with their commemorative t-shirt and a medal.
