We are delighted to announce that Fairfield will be launching their very first fishing club this September. The aim of the project is to support up to 10 young people to learn a new skill, appreciate nature, learn about the ecology of our local area, and to feel the physical and mental health benefits of fishing in a peaceful environment.

This new club wouldn’t be possible without funding from Sport England’s Together Fund. The funding will cover the equipment and training for the staff to run the club. The Fund is administered by the Angling Trust and supported by Sport England, and we would like to thank them for their support. We would also like to say a massive thank you to Warminster and District Angling Club. With their assistance, we will be able to launch the fishing club this coming September.

The club will be based on waters managed by the Warminster and District Angling Club. We look forward to sharing more details about the club and what they get up to in the near future.
