FAIRFIELD FARM COLLEGE PURCHASE PRINCE OF WALES PUB IN DILTON MARSH
Fairfield Farm College has recently finalised the purchase of the Prince of Wales pub in the village of Dilton Marsh. The college has a long-standing ties within the local community of Dilton Marsh, and many residents reacted positively to the news that it will continue to be a part of the village with local ownership.
The intention is to create a B&B style arrangement within the house, as well as keeping a function room and bar facility available for hire. This will offer another form of training to the students at the college, who will be able to understand and learn how an accommodation and hospitality establishment is run.
The renovations required to make this new venture happen are substantial, with an estimated cost of over £200,000. They will also take a considerable amount of time to complete, so the intention is to secure the site and wait until the funds are in place to fully renovate the site. The team at Fairfield Farm College are excited to bring this new project to life, and are hoping that the local community will support the new enterprise.
