Fairfield Farm College student enjoys work experience at Castledown FM

Maja, a student at Fairfield Farm College has been enjoying some extracurricular work-based learning at a Community Radio Station called Castledown FM. Maja has been helping with pre-production of the show, as well as helping to present it every Monday morning between 10am and 12pm.

Helen, Maja’s mum, said “We go to the studio on a Monday morning, sanitise the studio, switch the desk on and make sure we’re ready to go live, put the first part of our show together, talk about what we’re going to do, then… we’re live! Maja is very confident and now shares all sorts of things with our listeners”.

If you would like to listen to Maja and Helen on air just, go to CastledownFM.com and click on LISTEN LIVE. You are also able to listen to shows that you’ve missed, on catch up.

We can’t wait to hear her next week, so make sure you tune in if you can!
