Sports Leaders deliver inclusive tennis session with Paralympian Louise Hunt

9th June 2022

Fairfield Farm College’s Sports Leaders team delivered an inclusive tennis session at Dilton Marsh Primary School as part of the Youth Sport Trust ‘Beyond the Baseline’ project. Paralympic tennis player Louise Hunt worked with the group to plan and practice the activities for the event.

Despite a change of venue and some changes to the planned groups on the day of the event, the team coped well and showed how resilient and flexible they can be.

Part of the Sports Leaders course focuses on the life skills that can be developed through being a sports leader. Teamwork and problem solving skills are definitely high on the list. Well done to all involved, and we look forward to the next event – The Rainbow Shower!
