Exciting updates from the World of Work team at Fairfield Farm College

30th November 2019

On Tuesday the World of Work team were pleased to welcome Brenda and Kat from the National Careers Service to FFC. They were given a tour of the college and the opportunity to meet some of our fantastic students. Kat who is a National Careers Service Adviser will be working with some of our 19+ students from January 2020 working on CV’s, skills and giving impartial advice. Kat will be with us every other Wednesday working out of the World of Work office.

In other exciting World of Work news Fairfield Farm College has successfully met the criteria of Gatsby Benchmark 1- A stable careers program. In recognition of this the Careers and Enterprise Company in partnership with Swindon and Wiltshire Careers Hub have just awarded us some funding for careers related resources. The first new resource will be a digital careers screen in the common room displaying work experience success stories, information, IAG meeting times and careers tips and advice.
