On Tuesday 10th December. 14 Fairfield Farm College students were given the fantastic opportunity to visit Siemens Rail Automation in Chippenham, to experience a professional manufacturing facility. It was a brilliant experience and Siemens were outstanding hosts. Students got to experience soldering, virtual reality, 3D printing, research and development and even an onsite fire engine. A huge thanks to Siemens Rail Automation, the student feedback forms gave the workplace experience 5 stars.
