It was a wet start for the Canal & River Trust work experience group this week but the sun came out in the end. Tom helped to let a barge pass through the lock gates and there was plenty of grounds maintenance to keep on top of. By the end of the session Ryan had independently loaded and emptied 10 wheelbarrow loads of sycamore that we had cut back. We also had to learn where all the tools were kept in the tool shed.
