A group of students at Fairfield Farm College, a specialist college in Dilton Marsh, helped to plan and run a successful fun run event at Lavington School recently. The Rainbow Shower Event was developed with the underlying principle that all young people deserve opportunities to challenge themselves physically and emotionally in a fun and safe environment. The students planned and executed the event, which had over 500 people in attendance.
The fun run saw participants run a variety of distances, whilst being decorated with colourful powders. Everyone was encouraged to wear a white t-shirt so by the end of the fun run, they should see how many different colours they had caught.
Rachel Bown from Fairfield Farm College said “A massive well down to all the Sports Leader students that got involved with organising the event, it was a massive success!”.
