This term in Digital Skills, student have been learning coding. Students have been working with our robot ‘Cue’ and programming him to move around the college. This has really tested skills from other areas too, such as;

Maths – turning by degrees to avoid objects and stay on the right track.

Communication – the use of lots of directional language, and working as a team to support each other.

Problem Solving – How to get around coding issues by working together.

Students have been really motivated by Cue, problem-solving in every session, testing their skills and rising to the challenges set. Well done to everyone involved.
