Students have been busy back in various work experience roles since their return from the Christmas break. Here’s a round up of some of the latest news.
The Canal and River Trust work experience group were given the opportunity to go out on the canal workboat. The students got to take it in turns to steer the boat down to Widbrook to collect waste bags and then recycle the rubbish at Bradford on Avon wharf recycle area. Students also got to help move the boat through a lock and moor it up at the canal bank. They all enjoyed the experience.
Aaron started his first shift recently at Mainlys of Devizes. Aaron is working in the hardware store to develop further his customer service skills. Aaron has been supported to set this up by one of our job coaches Theresa.
Well done to Kyle who recently started his first shift at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre. Kyle is keen to experience working in all the different areas of the facility. Kyle has been supported by one of our job coaches Chris to set this up.
