MARKET GARDEN
Introduction
You will learn that there is not one simple way of growing vegetables, but it can be approached using many different techniques. You will learn how to crop plan, bed prep, fertilise soil, weed control and much more. We have grown and sold punmkpins, christmas treees and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. These are cleaned, weighed, packaged and delivered to customers, such as the Weavers Pub in the village!
Learning, Knowledge and Skills
You will have gained the practical experience to grow crops in a market garden or small holding. You could also work in a nursery, garden centre or commercial growing.
